The source of inspiration is the fourteenth-century masterpiece by Italian poet and scholar Boccaccio: the Decameron. This book is a collection of one hundred stories, told over ten days by ten young people fleeing the plague. Just like during that pandemic, we also tell each other stories today to get through the time, to entertain each other, and to reflect on hardship. But also – and above all – to find a little beauty and happiness again. The multilingual Uitgesteld geluk (Delayed happiness) was free to attend.
