Over de Drempel
Over de Drempel supports people and projects that use art and culture to discuss loneliness. Because anyone who has ever felt lonely knows how difficult it is to put into words.
Sometimes the smallest initiatives make a substantial difference. Especially if you work on it together. Over de Drempel helps you take that first key step (literally: stepping over the threshold) to contribute to the fight against loneliness.
Over de Drempel celebrates the joy of connecting with other people. Because anyone who has ever felt lonely. knows how difficult it is to put into words. And how wonderful it actually is to make contact. That is what Over de Drempel is about. It is about opening doors, letting others in and making contact with each other.
Since 2019, the project has been supporting makers who use art and culture to address loneliness and has therefore already taken major steps in the fight for connection. For instance, through a “homesickness restaurant” for students. Or a craft market for young and old, a game night for beginners, artist pen pals, and even a singles’ dinner party.

We look forward to receiving your portfolio! However, sound engineers, podcasters and stage builders are also very welcome. We love working with freelancers, so who knows, we may approach you for a great job!
