Their literary bright spots pop up all across Fryslân: each time, it’s a surprise where that day’s text will appear. For example on construction site banners, bags or license plates. At sports parks or museums. As a live performance or projection.

Klein geluk is the successor to Uitgesteld geluk (Postponed happiness), the project that Leeuwarden UNESCO City of Literature brought during the first edition of Arcadia in 2022. Back then, readings took place for a hundred days in a hundred different gardens. In times of great suffering in the world, Klein geluk searches for exactly those small moments that colour our day.
