Making Session: Build a Story
In collaboration with various artists.

This summer holiday, we’re hosting wildly fun making sessions for the young, younger, and youngest. OnTuesdays, we build stories. On Wednesdays, we build a game. And on Thursdays, we build a weird object or thing. Every week features different artists, different themes, and different questions. Honestly, we never really know WHAT we’re going to make. Because it all happens right then and there.

We build with LEGO, clay, paper, balance, wool, waste, and light. With pens, colour, paint, and cardboard. With power and being in charge, with imagination and space. With music and masks, with language and magic. Sometimes we transform the entire room. Sometimes we play on a big yellow dot. Sometimes you can bring a grown-up, but often it’s better to leave them at home.

• 19 August: Peng Zhang

This event takes place in the Maakruimte (Makerspace) at Bouwurk, on Oldehoofsterkerkhof in Leeuwarden, Fryslân.
