Can we still build something together? Absolutely – a celebration to mark the opening of Bouwurk for everyone. Co-builders, co-bakers, co-singers, co-blowers, co-dancers, co-creators: on 14 June, there’s something special for everyone to enjoy.

9:30 am – 12:30 pm
All of Fryslân bakes and builds
We invite all hobby bakers from Fryslân to bake their favourite cookies, cakes or other treats. Want to bake something, too? Great! Let us know who you are and what you’d like to bring using the ‘I’m baking!’ button.
In the morning, there’ll be a delicious parade of homemade treats. Come by for a coffee, sample all the goodies, and soak up the friendly atmosphere at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof. Meanwhile, all Bouwurk co-builders will gather to put up the final decorations and get everything ready.

Key handover
With the official handover of the key, Bouwurk becomes a place for everyone. During a short but lively programme, you’ll meet the businesses, clubs and initiatives that have brought this building to life together.

Guided tours and workshops
Get to know Bouwurk and get hands-on yourself. Through workshops and guided tours, you’ll discover what we can create together — and be reminded that you never really forget how to play and explore.

4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Let the music ring out and the ground shake!
