Do you love baking cookies or cakes — and have a favourite recipe? Then Arcadia is looking for you!

During the opening ofBouwurk on 14 June, under the Oldehove, we want to build a big, shared table full of treats from across the province. Cookies, cakes, oranjekoek, dúmkes (Frisian cookies), baklava, muffins — everything is welcome! We’ll place a note by each bake saying who made it — and maybe you even have a little story to go with it.

While the meebouwers (co-builders) are busy decorating, setting up and adding the final touches in the morning, curious visitors can already explore — and enjoy your creations with a cup of coffee, tea or lemonade. Together, we’ll create a warm and welcoming morning where everyone, young and old, is invited — and everyone is curious about your specialty. Bake along for the Housewarming and let us know what you’d like to make using the button below.
