Have you always wanted to draw your own comic strip? During this workshop you will learn the basics of drawing comic strips – from the first sketch to a short comic strip. Comic strip artist Skelte Siweris Braaksma, known for his ten own comic strip publications under the name Striplân, takes you into his world. He shows his work, shares his working method and gives tips on how to capture your story in images.

The theme of Arcadia and Bouwurk forms the starting point. How do you translate an idea, feeling or event into a comic strip? You get started yourself and receive personal guidance at every step. Whether you are drawing for the first time or have made something before: everyone is welcome.
