For a full year, we used art and culture to build a province we could proudly pass on to future generations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>With no fewer than 220 major events and around 800 <em>mienskip<\/em> (community) initiatives, we set things in motion. More than 65,000 Frisians worked together to shape the Frysl\u00e2n of the future. We discovered just how proud we could be of our province and how much potential lives in our people and our land.<br>Baby steps? That\u2019s not our style. We prefer giant boots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>We dared to dream, to act, and to be different. And in doing so, we learned to look toward 2028 with confidence. Want to feel what that year was like? We changed our name from Leeuwarden-Frysl\u00e2n 2028 to Arcadia. And now, every three years, we take bold steps to bring the vision we set in 2018 to life.
