At Arcadia, we believe our society becomes so much more beautiful when you help shape it yourself. When you put your phone away, step outside, connect with others, hear new ideas and, in turn, come up with new ideas of your own. Because it is mei sizzen net te dwaan (talk alone won’t get it done).
In 2028, Arcadia bursts back to life across the whole of Fryslân. With creativity, music, performances, routes, installations and encounters in unexpected places. But Arcadia doesn’t start in 2028. Building, dreaming up, researching, making and collaborating are already happening now.

Arcadia is part of a large cultural network in Fryslân, the Netherlands and Europe. That’s why we regularly share open calls with opportunities for artists, designers, researchers, young people, residents and makers.
