Nature (H)Art is a graffiti project on a city bus. During Arcadia, an Arriva city bus will drive around, one which Senne (13 years old) is designing. With her project, Senne would like to draw attention to a better world, a world in which we take care of the earth. So come see it!
What Senne has to say about her project:
“Floods, forest fires, plastic soup!
Nature is really bad and I mean… I'm only 13. What will my future be like? I can't save the whole world, but I can do something!?”
“With this project I want to make the world a little better, but also more beautiful.
And in the meantime that is also a bit of a contrast: I want to make the world a little better, for example, but I also want to go shopping with friends and go to McDonalds. So where is the balance?”
Let me introduce myself: “I am Senne Weijsters and I am 13 years old. I am quite creative and I love drawing/painting, but also graffiti. That's why I have made a graffiti mural on a bus, with the theme that things should go better with nature. Who knows, you might see the bus and it will open your eyes. And… will you ride along for a bit?”
Nature (H)Art is one of the projects of BROEI, the platform for young artists during Arcadia. BROEI consists of 12 different projects in which young makers implement their idiosyncratic ideas and plans, everything from performance, film to graffiti: during Arcadia it BREES throughout Friesland!
